ARCH-E
Since February 2024, Anna Resch and Sebastian Jobst, Konnektom, have been supporting the Creative Europe project ARCH-E as project coordinators. Under the lead of the Austrian Federal Chamber of Architects and Chartered Engineers, ten partner institutions are collaborating on the Europe-wide project. The ARCH-E team is conducting studies to analyze existing barriers for architects to participate in transnational architectural competitions and developing tools to overcome these barriers in the future.
A central component of the project is the establishment of an international expert network of architects and other specialists in the field of architectural competitions. Architects can contact colleagues from countries where they would like to participate in an architectural competition to explore the possibility of collaboration. This should significantly facilitate the transfer of know-how across local frameworks, especially for smaller architectural firms. The development of the network has begun, and interested architects and experts are warmly welcome to join.
